MomsBunch Creative Concoctions showcases local artisans

What started in one woman’s kitchen years ago has turned into a storefront with 30 vendors plying their wares.

Lori Conklin began selling products made with essential oils five years ago, which she made in her home kitchen, to now being the owner of MomsBunch Creative Concoctions in downtown Chipley.

In 2018, Conklin opened her first storefront with eight other vendors but eventually outgrew that spot and moved to her current location at 1367B S. Railroad Ave. early in 2022.

Conklin says they have a little bit of everything.

“We are showcasing local artisans,” she said. “We have a little of everything, essential oils, freeze dried sweets, local honey, jewelry, personalized cups and so much more.’

MomsBunch also has a massage therapist who is available by appointment only.

“There is something in here for everyone,” Conklin said. “We are always changing, everything in the store is hand-crafted or homemade.”

MomsBunch will be celebrating their third anniversary next month with a birthday celebration scheduled for Feb. 4. There will be sales and refreshments for those who visit the store. MomsBunch also hosts a monthly Sip and Shop in conjunction with Box Car Coffee and other local businesses. The event happens on the third Thursday of each month from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Conkiln says she is open to the possibility of new vendors.

“This is a family that we have here,” she said. “Because of that, we are considerate of what each person is selling; we don't want to have in-store competition for sales. If someone has something they are interested in selling here, they can come in and we can talk about it.”

Store hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Don't forget to bring a treat for Charlie, the shop dog. Learn more by visiting MomsBunch Creative Concoctions on Facebook.
