Rich named editor of Washington County News and Holmes County Advertiser

Jennifer Rich has been named editor of the Washington County News and Holmes County Advertiser.

Todd Neves, owner of Neves Publishing Group, announced Rich’s return after she held a reporter position at the two publications from 2015 to 2017.

“Jennifer's background, experience and commitment to Holmes and Washington Counties will make a perfect addition to our team and our vision for keeping the news and events locally focused,” Neves said. “We are thrilled to have her on the team and look forward to her taking the reins as we continue to grow the local presence in Holmes and Washington.”

Rich is a Bonifay native who began her journalism career in 2008 as a general assignment reporter at The Destin Log. She has also held reporter positions at the Panama City News Herald, Pensacola News Journal and The Daily News in Jacksonville, NC.

“It’s nice to be back in my hometown carrying on the tradition of timely and accurate local news coverage,” Rich said. “I look forward to connecting with readers and helping them celebrate what makes life in our communities special.”
