CHIPLEY – On June 8, Chipley Police Department made contact with Hurtis Tyrone Jackson, 40, of Chipley and according to a press release, Jackson was known to have an outstanding warrant for the sale of cocaine. The officer advised Jackson of the warrant and placed him under arrest.
A search of Jackson led to the discovery of cocaine on his person. Jackson was booked on the outstanding warrant and will face new charges resulting from the arrest.
