Wausau man charged with child molestation
A
42-year-old Washington County man has been arrested on sexual molestation
charges.
Washington County
Sheriffs Office began an investigation once a report was filed alleging
Michael John Earl, of Wausau, had touched the child in a lewd and lascivious
manner. The victim provided a statement which revealed the molestation had
taken place, multiple times, over the past few months.
Earl was
booked into the Washington County Jail and is now facing a felony charge of
lewd and lascivious behavior on a victim between 12 and 16 years of age.
Earl is
being held on a $150,000 bond.
