Holiday man faces possession charges after traffic stop

WASHINGTON COUNTY – On the afternoon of September 26, a Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputy made a traffic stop at mile marker 126 on Interstate 10. 

When WCSO made contact with the driver, identified as Jonah Matos, 24, of Holiday, it was found he had an active warrant out of Pascoe County. Once detained, deputies searched his vehicle and found THC wax and drug paraphernalia. 

  Matos is charged with possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia.
