Short pursuit lands one in jail, WCSO seeking second
WASHINGTON COUNTY – A Caryville man fled on foot after a failed traffic stop but his passenger, a Chipley woman, landed in jail on Tuesday, October 5.
The Washington County Sheriffs Office received a call in reference to a domestic altercation between the driver and passenger of a black GMC truck.
Deputies
attempted to make a traffic stop but the driver, identified as Derek
Lance Bush, 34, of Caryville, failed to stop the vehicle. After a short pursuit ended at an intersection, Bush fled on foot.
The
passenger of the vehicle, identified as Kaylinda Carla Wilkinson, 29,
of Chipley, was arrested and charged with possession of paraphernalia.
Bush has outstanding felony warrants and is being sought by WCSO.
