Chipley woman arrested on meth charges

WAUSAU– A Chipley woman is behind bars once more less than three weeks after being released when a traffic stop yielded methamphetamine.

Around 10:45 p.m. on October 25, a Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop on Jefferson Street in Wausau. The driver was identified as
46-year-old Sharmin Ann Corbin. During the stop, a K-9 was deployed and
positively alerted on the vehicle, indicating the presence of
narcotics.

A probable cause search was conducted and found Corbin to be in possession of a glass smoking pipe and a baggie of methamphetamine.

Corbin was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
