Pedestrian dead after crash in Ebro

EBRO – At approximately 6:40 p.m. on November 2, a 2008 Honda Sedan being driven by a 20-year-old female from Crestview, was traveling westbound on Highway 20, just west of Highway 79. At the same time, a 66-year-old male pedestrian from Jay, Massachusetts, was walking eastbound on the apron of Highway 20 in an unlit area in front of the Ebro Motel. 

The
front right and side of the Honda collided with the pedestrian. The man
came to final rest in the west driveway entrance of the Ebro Motel.
The Honda came to a final rest just west of the crash scene. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the pedestrian passed away from his injuries.
 

Washington County Sheriff’s Office and Washington County EMS assisted at  the scene.
