Three Washington County men were arrested on drug charges after the Washington County Drug Task Force (WCDTF) served active warrants in two locations.

Donald Eugene Skipper, 54, of Chipley, was arrested on an outstanding warrant on Feb. 3 for the sale of methamphetamine.

Once Skipper was in custody, members of the WCDTF performed a search of the Rattlebox Road residence where deputies made contact with 29-year-old co-resident Troy Alan Tyus.

A search of Tyus found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Tyus was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamine.

A short foot pursuit led to the arrest of 32-year-old Joseph Leroy Goodman, of Chipley, at a residence on Nearing Hills Drive. Goodman had an active warrant out of Holmes County.

Goodman now faces a new charge for resisting arrest without violence.

Goodman was initially placed on probation for possession of a controlled substance on December 13, 2021.
