Pending school board approval, Coach Trey Pike is being recommended as Vernon High School’s new athletic director and head football coach. Coach Pike has been an assistant at VHS for the past two seasons. He previously taught and coached at Holmes County High School and with St Clair County in Asheville, AL. Coach Pike will migrate to his new position on June 1 and has been serving as our interim head football coach since Coach Tranquille’s departure.
