Around 2:45 a.m. on January 3, Washington County Telecommunications Center received a call regarding a domestic related shooting on Tiger Trail Road. When deputies arrived at the residence it was determined the wife had shot and killed her husband.
Washington County Sheriff’s Office is working with the Fourteenth Judicial Circuit Medical Examiner’s Office and are in the early stages of the investigation. The residence is still being processed for evidence.
The wife is cooperating with the investigation and no arrests have been made at this time.
