Senator Jay Trumbull and Representative Shane Abbott are scheduled to host a series of legislative delegation meetings to hear from constituents and government leaders in Holmes, Jackson, Walton, and Washington counties.
The Holmes County Legislative Delegation will hold their annual pre-session meetings on Tuesday, October 3, at 10 a.m. The meeting will be held in the Holmes County Board of County Commissioners board room located at 107 East Virginia Avenue, in Bonifay.
The Washington County Legislative Delegation will hold their annual pre-session meetings on Tuesday, October 3, at 11:30 a.m. The meeting will be held in the Washington County Board of County Commissioners board room located at 1331 South Boulevard, in Chipley.
These meetings are an opportunity for citizens, elected officials, cities and local governments, and other civic organizations to address the delegation before the start of the 2024 Legislative Session. The legislative delegation will also consider and vote on “local billsâ€, which is state legislation that only pertains to a municipality, taxing district, or school district within the county.
