Community places wreaths in Vernon City Cemetery for Wreaths Across America

This year, 2.7 million wreaths were placed at 3700 locations for Wreaths Across America, which honors deceased former military service members.

Included in this number is Vernon City Cemetery where JROTC cadets, members of Chipley AMVETs post 007 and the community placed 90 wreaths on the graves of veterans.

A brief ceremony was conducted which included posting of the colors, the pledge of allegiance, and placement of ceremonial wreaths for each branch of the service.
