The 57th annual Wausau Fun Day and Possum Festival drew crowds over the weekend, treating attendees to fan favorites such as the rooster crowing, cow lowing, and pig calling competitions, the crowning of the Possum King and Queen, and the recently revived Donkey Ball Tournament. This year’s celebration also featured the newly added “Wausau’s Got Talent” competition. Visitors enjoyed live music, food truck offerings, games and activities, and a wide selection of goods from more than 70 vendors.
