The Washington County Sheriff’s Office will hold its 8th annual PCA (Professional Cowboy Association)‑sanctioned rodeo on Friday, September 18, and Saturday, September 19, at the Washington County Equestrian Center, located at 2574 Daniel’s Lake Road in Chipley.
Gates open at 5 p.m., with the rodeo beginning at 7 p.m. each night. The annual event will feature an exciting lineup of traditional rodeo competitions, food and craft vendors, and family friendly activities.
Advance tickets are $10 and can be purchased at The Westerner, Creekside Farm & Outdoors, Main Street Market, Orange Hill Express, and Fastlane Drive‑Thru. Tickets will also be available at the gate for $12, with children 5 and under admitted free.
The rodeo, now in its eighth year, serves as a fundraiser supporting community programs and events organized by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office. Attendees can expect two evenings packed with bull riding, barrel racing, roping events, and other crowd‑favorites that showcase the skill of local and regional competitors.
“There’s nothing quite like rodeo weekend—the excitement of the crowd, the smell of great food, and the sound of cheering fans,” organizers said in a social media post. “We invite everyone to come out and experience this incredible community tradition.”
