Two arrested after traffic stop

WASHINGTON COUNTY – A traffic stop on the afternoon of June 28 led to the arrest of a man and a woman from Hawthorne.  

During the traffic stop, Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies observed behaviors from the passenger of the vehicle which
prompted a K-9 perimeter search of the vehicle. The K-9 alerted to the
presence of narcotics and deputies asked the occupants to exit the
vehicle
.
 

Deputies
checked the identities of the occupants and found that passenger
Heather Nicole Davis, 34, had an outstanding warrant in Alachua County
and was taken into custody.
 

According to WCSO, an interior search of the vehicle led deputies to find methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. 





The driver, identified as Jody Marcus Jade Keen, 27, was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia and failure to register a motor vehicle.
