VERNON – Hundreds were in attendance as the City of Vernon celebrated the return of its Independence Day Celebration Saturday, July 3.
The event kicked off with the downtown parade, immediately followed by festivities at the Vernon Sportsplex, where country music artist Christon Birge took the stage and provided live music for his hometown.
This free community event included vendors and childrenÂ’s activities, and concessions.
The evening culminated with a fireworks presentation.
