Tornado watch in effect

The National Weather Service has issued tornado watch until 6 p.m. This watch affects six Panhandle counties, including Holmes and Washington and Bay.

Listed in the watch are Bay, Calhoun, Holmes, Jackson, Walton and Washington counties in Florida and Geneva and Houston counties in Alabama.

This includes: Abe Springs, Alpine Heights, Argyle, Barker Store, Bennett, Blountstown, Bonifay, Browntown, Cairo, Callaway, Center Ridge, Chipley, Chipley Municipal Airport, Clarksville, Cluster Springs, Cobb Crossroads, Cottonwood, Crystal Lake, DeFuniak Springs Airport, DeFuniak Springs, Dothan, Durham, Econfina, Eucheeanna, Fadette, Five Points, Frink, Ganer, Geneva, Geneva Municipal A/P, Graceville, Hacoda, Hartford, Holmes County Airport, Leonia, Logan Field Municipal A/P, Lynn Haven, Malone, Marianna, Marysville, New Hope, Nixon, Orange Hill, Panama City, Poplar Head, Richter Crossroads, Scotts Ferry, Simsville and Sneads.
