Drive-by shooting suspect still at large

The suspect in the drive by shooting that occurred on July 28, is still at large according to the Chipley Police Department (CPD).

24-year-old Antonio Dewayne Brigham, of Chipley, has absconded from probation and has an outstanding warrant for the following charges: Shooting into or throwing a deadly missile into dwelling, discharge of a firearm from a vehicle and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

CPD is investigating the incident that occured at Church Avenue and Seventh Street late Thursday afternoon. Officers arrived on scene to find an adult male with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was treated for his non-life threatening injuries.
