The Chipley Police Department (CPD) is currently investigating a drive by shooting in the area around Church Avenue and Seventh Street. When officers arrived on scene an adult male victim had sustained a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to the Northwest Florida Community Hospital for his injuries. CPD reports that the wound is non-life threatening at this time. CPD is actively working this investigation. The News will continue to update this story as information becomes available.
