The Art of Manhood program in Chipley recently held its first incentive trip, taking participating young men to SeaWorld in Orlando for a day of rides and wildlife experiences. Officials report that one of the trip’s standout moments came when a mentee introduced the idea for the “Olympic Manhood Games,” an event that brought participants together through trivia, sports, and other challenges designed to reinforce teamwork, leadership, brotherhood, and sportsmanship while complementing group discussions about future goals and preparing for the new school year. Program organizers thanked the citizens of Washington County and surrounding communities for their support, noting that local fundraising efforts helped make the trip possible.
