On Friday, August 14, the Spanish Trail Playhouse will host a yard sale to benefit its community efforts in Chipley.
The event will be held in the Chipley High School gymnasium, and the cafeteria will be full of treasures donated by the community, including clothing, shoes, furniture, sports equipment, and decor.
The yard sale will be from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and again on Saturday, August 15, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
In addition to the donated items, leftover Chipley High School items such as desks, chairs, and books will also be available for purchase.
“We’re doing this yard sale to benefit the entire campus as we’ve recently taken over the 4.85 acres and about 7 buildings in the area. Even if you don’t buy anything, come look at the space, I’d love to talk to folks and let them know what the plans are for the campus,” said Spanish Trail Playhouse President, Kevin Russell.
All of the money raised during the two-day yard sale event will go towards benefiting the renovations of the campus, as Spanish Trail Playhouse intends to create a cultural arts center and sports complex in the near future after some much-needed renovations.
