Chipley High School volleyball team celebrates Senior Night 

Chipley High School held Senior Night at the gym on Oct. 2. They have six seniors as members of the volleyball team, each who has contributed to the history and tradition of the Chipley Tigers volleyball while attending the past four years.  

Nevaeh Bellamy [CONTRIBUTED]

Nevaeh Bellamy. Nevaeh was escorted by her parents, Alex and Kalonya Bellamy. She has played volleyball for six years and has been on the varsity team for three years. Nevaeh’s favorite volleyball memory is playing on varsity one year with her sister. Her advice to future CHS athletes is to always have a positive attitude, be a good listener and that hard work pays off.

Nevaeh’s future plans include going to college to play volleyball and majoring in nursing. 

Ni’kyah Collins [CONTRIBUTED]

Right side hitter, Ni’kyah Collins. Ni’kyah was escorted by her parents, Bobby Collins and Monica Hill. Ni’kyah has played volleyball for four years and has been on varsity for two years. Ni’kyah’s favorite volleyball memory is winning a set against Blountstown. Her advice to future CHS athletes is to keep their heads up. Her future plans are to play college volleyball and pursue a career in nursing. 

Hanna Duke [CONTRIBUTED]

Outside hitter, Hanna Duke. Hanna was escorted by her parents Scott and Chastity Duke. Hanna has played volleyball for seven years and has been on varsity for three years. Hanna’s favorite volleyball memory is winning districts two years in a row. Her advice to future CHS athletes is to not worry about the little things and to just have fun. Hanna’s future plans include getting a degree in nursing at Chipola College and to further become a nurse anesthetist.  

Ryleigh Kunde [CONTRIBUTED]

Libero, Ryleigh Kunde.  Ryleigh was escorted by her parents, Richard and Kelly Kunde. She has played volleyball for seven years and has been on varsity for three years. Ryleigh’s favorite volleyball memory is winning regional-semi finals her Junior year. Her advice to future CHS athletes is hard work pays off. Ryleigh’s future plans include earning a degree in Business and playing volleyball at the next level.  

Jadeyn Popp [CONTRIBUTED]

Jadeyn Popp. Jadeyn was escorted by her parents, David and Crystal Popp. She has played volleyball for six years and has been on varsity for four years. Jadeyn’s favorite volleyball memory is celebrating every point as loud as possible and keeping team hype. Her advice to future CHS athletes is work hard in every drill and always stay positive. Jadeyn’s future plans are to attend Gulf Coast for volleyball and to become a radiologist.  

Bella Thornton [CONTRIBUTED]

Middle and right-side hitter, Bella Thornton. Bella was escorted by her parents, Ted and Kristen Thornton. She has played volleyball for six years and has been on varsity for two years. Bella’s favorite volleyball memory is attending the UWF camp in Foley her junior season. Her advice to future CHS athletes is no matter the circumstances, choose to enjoy the little things. Bella’s future plans are to attend the ultrasound program at Gulf Coast. 

The Lady Tigers hosted the Holmes County Blue Devils. JV and varsity took the wins for Senior Night.
