Historical Society hosts Arts and Crafts Show

The Washington County Historical Society hosted an Arts and Crafts Show on Saturday, September 13, at the Society’s museum in Chipley. The event celebrated the creativity of local artists and crafters, featuring an array of drawings, paintings, sketches, quilts, and more. Visitors enjoyed a showcase of homegrown talent, highlighting the artistic spirit of Washington County.

This display features woven pine needle baskets from the museum’s collection.

Vivian McDonald created this snowy landscape.
In addition to viewing the artwork, attendees were able to enjoy the many exhibits featuring key pieces of Washington County’s history.
