The Washington County Chamber of Commerce officially welcomed The Mug Too with a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the locally owned cafe’s growth and its commitment to serving the Vernon community.
Chamber members, local officials, family, friends, and community supporters gathered to recognize owners Lori and Scottie Bragdon for transforming The Mug Too into one of Vernon’s newest gathering places. Known for its handcrafted coffee, made-to-order meals, and welcoming atmosphere, Lori and Scottie have built a family-focused cafe that emphasizes quality food, friendly service, and community connections.
“It has truly taken a village,” Lori said. “We wouldn’t be here without our family, our vendors, and every customer who walks through our doors. Our goal has always been for people to leave feeling like family.”
Washington County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Shirley Parrado praised the owners for their dedication and the positive impact the business has already made in Vernon.
“The Mug Too represents exactly what makes our local business community so special,” Parrado said. “Lori and Scotty have created more than a café, they’ve created a place where people gather, friendships grow, and everyone feels welcome. We are proud to celebrate their success and officially welcome them as members of the Washington County Chamber of Commerce.”
The Mug Too is located at 3303 Court Avenue in Vernon and is open Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
