1A District 2 District high school volleyball tournament kicks off in Vernon

Three local teams gear up for the 1A District 2 district volleyball tournament set to begin tonight, Oct. 16, at 6:00 p.m. in Vernon.

In the opening match, Holmes County will face off against Vernon, marking the start of what is expected to be an action-packed tournament. The stakes are high, as the winner of the Holmes County vs. Vernon game will earn the right to advance to the next stage.

The eagerly anticipated game with Chipley is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 17, at 5:00 p.m.
