Ghosts on the Coast
Calling all Pumpkins, Ghosts, Dragons and Witches too!
The City of Port St. Joe and the Gulf County Chamber of Commerce have a spooky party planned for Halloween night.
Come out to Reid Avenue from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. ET on Monday, October 31 to enjoy a halloween costume contest, trick or treating and other festivities.

Spooktacular Evening in Wewahitchka
The City of Wewahitchka will have Halloween trick or treating on Monday, October 31 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. CT on Second Street.
Holy Ghost on the Coast
First Baptist Church of Port St. Joe will be hosting their annual Holy Ghost on the Coast event on Monday, October 31 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. EDT on the church’s lawn and parking lot.
The family-friendly event will feature trunk-or-treating, inflatables, hayrides, ax throwing, free hot dogs, a snow cone truck and more.

VFW Halloween Party
The VFW in Highland View will be hosting a Halloween party on Friday, October 28 from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. EDT. The event, which is open to the public, will feature a TGIF dinner, a costume contest for both children and adults and scary-aoke (karaoke).
The VFW is located at 1776 Trout Avenue.
Howard Creek Fall Festival
The Howard Creek Volunteer Fire Department will be hosting a fall festival on Saturday, October 29 from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. CST.
The event will feature games, prizes, a cake walk, truck or treat, a scary hay ride, costume contests and more.

Walk with the ghosts Saturday night
Join the Apalachicola Area Historical Society’s annual Fall Historic Ghost Walk this Saturday, Oct. 29 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the historic Chesnut Cemetery at Avenue E and Eighth Street in Apalachicola.
Nine of Apalachicola’s citizens from the other side will share local legends and lore as history enthusiasts don the garb and take on the persona of the cemetery’s notable inhabitants. Visitors are guided through the cemetery along candle-lit paths.
The cost is $7 per person at the gate, with all proceeds going for cemetery preservation. Children under 12 are free.
Island Spooktacular Friday night
The St. George Lighthouse Association will host its third annual SGI Lighthouse Trick-or-Treat Spooktacular on Friday, Oct. 28 from 7 to 9 p.m. in Lighthouse Park. This free, family-friendly event will feature multiple candy stations along the sidewalk and spooky decorations lighting up the park.
