The Washington County Council on Aging hosted its Washington County Senior Expo on Wednesday, April 1 at the Washington County Ag Center, bringing together local vendors, service providers, and community members to highlight resources available to older adults throughout the county.

Attendees had the opportunity to connect with organizations offering long‑term care options, home health services, wellness programs, and other senior‑focused support. The event aimed to help residents better understand the services available to them and strengthen connections between seniors and local agencies.

A complimentary lunch was provided courtesy of Washington County Sheriff Kevin Crews, whose office also served as one of the event’s sponsors. Additional sponsors included Florida Power & Light and Emerald Coast Hospice.

In a message of appreciation, the Council on Aging thanked its sponsors, vendors, and community partners for contributing to a successful day of outreach and fellowship. Organizers noted that the event helped “plant seeds” for continued collaboration and growth heading into next year. Off My Frame Photography was also recognized for capturing the day’s activities.
