On Monday, July 27, a vehicular crash at the 106-mile marker of Washington County left one person with serious injuries.
According to the Bonifay Fire Rescue, first responders arrived at the scene to find a sedan crashed into the back of a commercial vehicle trailer.
The driver of the sedan was entrapped with serious injuries.
First responders treated and extricated the driver before turning them over to Washington County EMS.
The driver of the sedan was airlifted to a local trauma center by Walton Air Rescue.
The driver of the commercial vehicle trailer sustained no injuries.
