Florida Panhandle Technical CollegeÂ’s Practical Nursing Program has been ranked the best in the state by Best Value Schools, outpacing larger schools such as Miami-DadeÂ’s PiBerry Institute and TampaÂ’s Erwin Technical College for the top spot.
“It is my honor to announce that the Practical Nursing Program at Florida Panhandle Technical College has been ranked number one in Florida,” FPTC Director Larry Moore told school board members when the board met in regular session Monday, July 12. “Congratulations to the nursing staff: Shirley Morris, Katherine Lawlor, Tammy Spaulding, Wendy Wheeler, and Kaley Kowtz.”
Established in 2013, Best Value Schools publishes independent, evidence-based rankings to compare thousands of schools, degrees, and programs around the country.
