On the ballot for this election is a Charter Amendment for the term lengths of the Mayor and City Council Members. Current terms are two years, if this referendum passes the terms would be extended to four years. The terms beginning in October of 2024 would expire September of 2028, and terms expiring September of 2025 would expire September 2026.
