The Swamp Barn will host its 2nd Annual Charity Car Show on Sunday, September 6, with proceeds once again benefiting the Washington County Council on Aging. Last year’s inaugural event raised $4,000 for the center, and organizers hope to surpass that total as the community comes together for a day of classic cars, live entertainment, and local support.
The show will take place at The Swamp Barn, located at 6519 Dog Track Road in Ebro. Registration runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with the car show open from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and awards presented at 4:30 p.m. The entry fee is $25 per vehicle.
This year’s event will feature a wide range of categories, including Best Pre‑1950, Best 1950–1959, Best 1960–1969, Best 1970–1979, Best 1980–1989, Best 1990–1999, Best 2000–2010, Best 2011–2020, Best Truck, Best Motorcycle, Fans’ Favorite, Chuck and Lonnie’s Pick, and Best of Show.
Festival‑goers can also enjoy live entertainment by Taste of Spice (Dionzia Santiago), who will perform throughout the afternoon. The Swamp Barn will be open all weekend, with open mic night on Saturday at 7 p.m. and additional activities Friday through Sunday.
Raffles will be held throughout the show, concluding with a 50/50 drawing. Organizers encourage attendees to come hungry, enjoy the music, and spend time exploring the variety of vehicles on display.
The Washington County Council on Aging expressed gratitude for the continued support from The Swamp Barn and the community. “We are incredibly grateful for partners who continue to show up for our seniors,” the organization shared. “Events like this make a real difference.”
