 Deputies with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on State Road 79 near Moss Hill Road on April 22 at 9:45 p.m. During the stop the smell of narcotics was detected.
A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in deputies locating a box of ammunition and a firearm that had been stolen out of Thomasville, Georgia.
19-year-old, Tariq Rashad Davis is charged with possession of a weapon by a convicted felon and carrying a concealed firearm.
