Kirkin’ o’ the Tartan

CHIPLEY – The Scottish Festival and Highland Games and KirkinÂ’ oÂ’ the Tartan were held on Saturday, November 6 at the First Presbyterian Church in Chipley. 

The event saw vendors, music and entertainment from traditional Highland games. Members of different clans came to exhibit their skills in events such as weight over bar, caber throwing, Braemar stone throw and others.  

The
sounds of bagpipes and drums were heard throughout the day courtesy of
members of Emerald Coast Pipes and Drums and Panama City Pipes and
Drums. 

Represented were Clans MacNeil and Murray through flags, tartans and booths where attendees could browse through Clan histories.
