Washington County, FL; June 28, 2024 — Two residents of Bonifay, FL, were apprehended by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office on active warrants, leading to their incarceration.
At approximately 11 a.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office investigators observed two females walking along Highway 90. One of the individuals, known to the investigators, was confirmed to have an active Washington County warrant for probation violation related to burglary charges. The suspect, identified as 35-year-old Jessica Lynn Parrett, was subsequently detained.
A routine check of the second individual’s information disclosed that she also had an active warrant from Holmes County for possession of methamphetamine. The second suspect, 22-year-old Hailey Faith Reid, was also taken into custody.
Further examination during the arrest process uncovered that both individuals were in possession of a glass smoking pipe. As a result, both women were booked into the Washington County Jail on the active warrants and additional charges of possession of drug paraphernalia.
