The Washington County Historical Society on Friday held a punch reception honoring veterans.
The event was held to not only honor those who have served their country, but to showcase a narrative of all the conflicts featured on the museum’s Veterans Memorial Wall.
Museum Director Dorothy Odom says the museum has recently curated many new items.
“We have had so many new things come in over the last year,” said Odom. “We hope that everyone will come visit and check out all the displays.”
The museum is open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each Friday; however, other times can be scheduled in advance by calling Odom at 850-638-0358. The Farmers Market and History Museum is located at 685 7th Street in Chipley.
