CPD nabs stabbing suspect

Chipley Police Department captured Adam Ray Neil Bodie who was wanted for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Bodie was arrested in the Walmart parking lot and transported to the Washington County Jail.  Bodie is also facing a charge of battery on a LEO.

 

 

Chipley Police Department (CPD) is asking the public’s help in locating a suspect in a stabbing.

CPD was dispatched to Northwest Florida Community Hospital in reference to a patient who had been stabbed on June 30.

Officers responded to the emergency room where they began their investigation. A 37-year-old female had been stabbed in her chest after an altercation. The victim identified 24-year-old Adam Bodie of Graceville as her assailant.

According to a CPD release, the victim stated Bodie came to her motel room and began beating on the door. A verbal altercation broke out between the two in the parking lot where the victim says Bodie struck her several times and stabbed her in the chest with a knife.

CPD has issued a felony warrant for Bodie on the charge of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
