The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the assistance of the public in locating 62-year-old David Alford.
Upon Alford’s release from the Florida Department of Corrections on April 24, he was equipped with an electronic monitoring device and reported to WCSO to register as part of his probation requirements.
The address Alford provided as his new residence was found to have numerous proximity violations. Alford was asked to provide a different address but he never returned to WCSO. Contact was made with the state probation and parole office and it was discovered that Alford had removed the electronic monitoring device and was now considered absconded.
Two warrants have been issued for Alford.
