The Chipley football team rolled past Holmes County 40-14 at home Friday night.
Game highlights include: Neal Adams – 12/16 200 Yards 1 TD; Harrison Adkinson – 8 Carries 89 Yards 3 TDS; Boo McGhee 1 carry 69 yards 1 TD; Dequayvious Sorey – 1 Rush 40 Yards 1 Rush TD 5 Catches 99 Yards 1 Rec TD & INT on Def.
The score remained 40-0 at the half with the Blue Devils picking up 14 points in the second half.
With the win, the Tigers advance to the 1A regional finals where they will play at Baker this Friday, November 26.
The Tigers are now 8-3, having finished the regular season 7-3 and Number 2 in the Region first round of playoffs.
This is the first time Chipley has hosted the 2nd Round-1st Playoff game in Chipley since 2001.
“These kids have had a historic season,” said Head Coach Marcus Buchanan.
