Task Force executes warrant, arrests three

The Washington County Drug Task Force and Washington County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team executed a search warrant and put three behind bars.

The warrant was served on Jan. 31 at a residence located at 5371 Jenkins Road following an investigation.

WCSO Task Force members led the search which yielded numerous articles of drug paraphernalia, multiple firearms, and ammunition throughout the home and the property.

There were three occupants in the residence at the time the warrant was executed, Willie Gene Boyett, 43, of Vernon, James Lee Coatney, 54, of Vernon and Jacquelyn Amanda Adams, 41, of Bonifay.

Boyett is charged with possession of a weapon by convicted felon, Coatney is charged with possession of a weapon by a convicted felon. Adams is charged with possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and tampering with evidence.
