A couple is behind bars after an investigation by the Panama City Beach Police led to the issuance of arrests and search warrants.
Washington County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Panama City Beach Police on Feb. 1 with the execution of the warrants for Larry Marce Whitehead Jr. and Michelle Marie Whitehead, both of Chipley.
PCBPD contacted WCSO in regards to an investigation into the transmission of harmful material to a minor. An arrest warrant was entered for Whitehead Jr. Washington County deputies served the arrest warrant. PCBPD and WCSO investigators interviewed Whitehead Jr.
A search warrant was issued for Whitehead Jr’s. residence at 2113 Winbec Road, in the Orange Hill Community.
In the process of the search, methamphetamine
and drug paraphernalia were found in the possession of Michelle Marie Whitehead, Larry Whitehead’s wife.
Whitehead was arrested on scene and transported to the Washington County Jail.
Larry Marce Whitehead Jr. is charged with transmission of harmful material to a minor
using a two way communications device to facilitate a felony and Michelle Marie Whitehead is charged with possession of methamphetamine.
